Butch has been in the water industry since 1972. Starting out in Minnesota, he worked for Culligan International as a District Manager covering 5 states in the Midwest. The family moved to Arizona in 1985 where Butch was Regional Manager for EcoWater covering 9 states in the West. In 2002, he was getting tired of all the traveling required and decided to start his own company which manufactured reverse osmosis (RO) and water softening systems. He limited his clientele to custom home builders. In 2008, with new home construction seriously decreasing, Strohman Water Treatment entered the retail business, offering wholesale prices to their customers.
